It's been a while!

It has definitely been to long since I last updated on here, but we have had so much going on!

I started working from home, running a small daycare. That is eventful! I blog about that adventure as well!

The pregnancy up to this point has gone well. There have been the normal pains and moans with pregnancy but our little invader is healthy in there. She has 6 more weeks to go.

Last Friday she came home from work early with some spotting and contractions. We were instructed to go to the hospital where we ended up spending 4 long hours in triage. We were told that our boy was healthy and had a strong heartbeat which is great. There was definite uterine activity so she was not simply imagining these symptoms. She was given 3 shots to stop the contractions and pumped full of fluids to rehydrate and we were sent on our way. I really wish that would have been the end of that but here it is Monday of the following week and she has been steadily having contractions all weekend. Not enough for us to feel the need to rush back to the hospital again but they are there and they are painful for her. We are waiting to call her doctor again and find out what we should do from here.

Now that you are all caught up on that aspect of the pregnancy, we recently had out maternity photos done and I am SO pleased with how they turned out!

Anyway sorry for such a long gap between updates! I will try, no promises though, to update here more frequently. Especially since the due date is gaining on us.
