The holidays...
They have never been something I've looked forward too. I can't exactly say why but there has just always been something about them. I can't remember getting overly excited about them to be honest. Atleast not until I had Bug. Once he came along it was a different story, but I have heard that having kids usually changes that outlook anyway. His first Christmas he was only a few weeks old so of course that one wasn't as eventful as his second. An important note about Bug though, he hates opening gifts in front of people. He seems to do just fine when it is just me, him and momma but for some reason like at his birthdays if we do gifts in front of everyone he throws a HUGE fit to the point that one of us is opening his gifts for him while he just screams. This year all gifts will be opened at home after his party is over and it is just us because two years worth of those tantrums is more than I wanted to take and I am not doing it a third time.
Anyway, the holidays. Last year around this time we got some pretty scary news. Things seemed to have worked out after Christmas though and things went back to normal. This year we got the same basic set of news, that has dampened spirits. On top of all that we got even more bad news which has turned this years holidays into nothing too special. Of course for Bug we are overjoyed and excited to watch him experience his birthday and Christmas again but inside it is all just kind of BLAH. That is really the only way I can describe it. Trying to stay calm for the baby's sake has not been easy and I have been trying my hardest to keep her as stress free as possible. On top of the stresses we learned of recently, there is the small matter that Bug's birthday is two weeks from today and we have no idea what we are going to do for it yet, in every sense that goes into a birthday party.
On to lighter things though. Last night Bug got his new big kid bed. Surprisingly enough he slept in it all night! This meant that I got to take is Thomas bed out of his room this morning. I honestly thought he would have a melt down when I took it out but he is absolutely loving how much room he has in his bed now. The boy is very long and he was becoming too long to sleep in the Thomas bed and I think he was uncomfortable. I just wish potty training him could be as easy as everything else has.
In baby bump news, December 4th we have another ultrasound where hopefully we find out gender. This pregnancy is moving along quickly and Momma is starting to show. :) We are looking forward to shooting maternity photos again ( we loved doing it the first time around as well). We are trying to introduce Bug to the idea that "There's a baby in Momma's belly." He just looks at me like I'm crazy and says "No Mommy, No baby in there." It makes me laugh everytime too. When he saw the ultrasound it didn't register that it was INSIDE Momma. We will see what happens this time around. I really can not wait to find out what she is having. I am getting all antsy to start planning its nursery!
Here I thought I had nothing to say and that this was going to be a short post. Guess I proved myself wrong huh? I will post another update after the ultrasound, we have not yet decided if we are going to announce the gender publicly or keep it to ourselves just yet but either way I will post an update on how the Little Invader is doing. As always thank you for reading.

As I type this I can hear Bugs infectious laughter from the other room
If anyone has been keeping up with my posts, you will notice a few things. First you will notice that I haven't posted in a while and I will explain that here in a minute. Second you will notice that I am posting from a different account now, this has to do with part one. I forgot the log in information to my other account and can't seem to figure out which email I used or the password. Fun huh?
So here is a link to the prior posts on my other account in case you haven't read them yet.

With that out of the way, on to a new update. Katie is roughly 14 weeks. We had a second ultra sound last week and we got to hear our "little invaders" heartbeat. 156 BPM. :)
We have our favorite names picked out already and can not wait to find out what we are having so we can start planning our nursery! This is all so exciting, getting to do it all over again.
I am currently on the hunt for either a new or a second job. We need something to break through these hard times and we need it soon. For now this will be all but I will make a concious effort to post more frequently, I just feel that most of the time I am rambling and have nothing to say.
"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope some day you'll join us and the world will be as one."
